Summary
Users can now manually trigger a validation check to ensure guest flight details align with their scheduled transfers directly within the booking process using the Transfer Validation button on the Air/Transfer step of Booking 2.0.
This only applies to users using Booking 2.0 and the RightRez integration.
Issue Details
Previously, flight and transfer validation was automatically done in Booking 2.0 as soon as the Air/Transfer step was opened, causing a performance issue. Users lacked a way to immediately verify if a guest's flight itinerary was compatible with their booked transfers after making changes.
Resolution
A new Transfer Validation button has been added to the Air/Transfer step in Booking 2.0. When clicked, the system immediately compares flight dates and times against transfer schedules, clearly labeling transfers as "Eligible" or "Ineligible" based on the guest's specific itinerary. Nightly jobs are still in place.
This feature must be enabled via the Global Variable EnableTransferFlightValidation.
