Summary
Promo codes and Early Booking Discounts (EBD) will now remain valid based on the original booking date when a guest is moved from a waitlist to a confirmed booking. This applies to both Booking 1.0 and Booking 2.0.
Issue Details
Previously, moving a guest from a waitlist to "Booked" status would reset the booking date to the current day, often causing active promotions to expire prematurely for that guest.
Resolution
The system now includes a hidden Original Book Date field that is automatically populated when a waitlisted guest is moved from a Waitlisted status to Booked. The Original Book Date will equal the date the Guest was first Waistlisted. The validation logic for promo codes and EBD rates has been updated to reference this original date, ensuring guests receive the discounts they were eligible for at the time of their initial request.
