Summary
Updated the logic for matching incoming travel reservations (PNRs) to ensure they associate with a guest's active booking rather than a cancelled one.
This impacts users leveraging the RightRez integration only.
Issue Details
When a guest had both a cancelled and an active booking for the same trip, new travel reservations were sometimes automatically linking to the cancelled record, making it difficult for staff to see the guest's current travel plans. This occurred specifically when the postback contained no booking number.
Resolution
The matching logic now prioritizes active bookings. If multiple active bookings exist, the system will link to the most recently modified one. If only a cancelled booking exists, the system will now alert the agent rather than silently linking to the inactive record. When the postback contains a booking number, PEAK 15 automatically associates to that record. When the postback does not contain a booking number, PEAK 15 links to the booking with the most recently modified date.
