We’ve resolved an issue affecting cost calculations when vendor rates had the same “Valid From” and “Valid To” dates. This caused errors such as “no applicable vendor rate,” inflated guest counts, and incorrect cost amounts when using blended rates.
What Was Happening
When vendor services included daily rates (where the “Valid From” date equaled the “Valid To” date), the system failed to recognize those rates correctly. This led to:
- Incorrect guest counts in the Planner
- False warnings about missing vendor rates
- Miscalculated cost amounts, especially when blended rates were expected
What’s Changed
The system now properly recognizes and applies vendor rates with single-day validity. Cost amounts are accurately calculated, guest counts are correct, and warning messages no longer appear unnecessarily.
All pricing methods and blended rate scenarios are now working as expected.
