We’ve made an important update to the Contact form to improve how passport details are managed.
What was the issue?
Previously, the Place of Birth field in the Passport section and the Other Passport section were linked—updating one would automatically update the other. This caused confusion, especially when different values were needed for each.
What’s changed?
- A new field called Other Place of Birth has been added to the Contact form.
- Now, the Passport and Other Passport sections each have their own Place of Birth field.
- Updating one no longer affects the other, allowing for more accurate and independent data entry.
This change ensures better handling of passport information and supports more precise recordkeeping.
è As part of the release, any existing values in p15_placeofbirth will be copied and added to the new field p15_otherplaceofbirth. Please reach out to the support team with any questions.
