Summary
An enhancement has been made to ensure that RightRez users can create Shell PNRs without a Travel Reservation being created with Booking Status = Booked.
Issue Details
Previously, RightRez Postback records were being created when a postback was received related to a Shell PNR. System logic processed the postback and created a Travel Reservation record with a Booking Status = Booked, with no air segments present.
Confusion was created due to duplicate Travel Reservation records on the same booking, one in Pending status and one in Booked status.
Resolution
The system logic has been updated so a RightRez Postback will:
- Create a Postback record
- Not create a Travel Reservation record.
- A Pending record will already exist when completing the GDS Air Wizard.
This update ensures continuity with records, and reduces confusion.
