We resolved an issue where positive‑amount payments were still being processed through an inactive Cybersource merchant account. These payments were created by Autopay and then approved through Accounts → e‑Payments, and instead of declining—as expected—they were successfully charged.

What’s Changed

  • For Positive payments (> $0), if either the Electronic Payment Account or its Merchant Account is inactive.
  • The payment will not process, and users will now see a clear message:
    1. “Payment account is inactive”
    2. “Merchant Account is inactive”
  • Refunds (< $0) will continue to process even if the merchant account is inactive, as intended.
