We resolved an issue where positive‑amount payments were still being processed through an inactive Cybersource merchant account. These payments were created by Autopay and then approved through Accounts → e‑Payments, and instead of declining—as expected—they were successfully charged.
What’s Changed
- For Positive payments (> $0), if either the Electronic Payment Account or its Merchant Account is inactive.
- The payment will not process, and users will now see a clear message:
- “Payment account is inactive”
- “Merchant Account is inactive”
- Refunds (< $0) will continue to process even if the merchant account is inactive, as intended.
