Previously, the POST /beacon/service.svc/insert/entity/p15_payment endpoint required a credit card account ID (p15_creditcardid) for all payment types, which prevented customers from submitting non–credit card payments via the PEAK 15 API.
We’re enhancing this endpoint to support additional payment methods—even without an electronic payment account—making it easier for customers to post various payment types through the API. Supported methods now include:
- Cash
- Check
- Wire
- Vendor Direct
- Other
Payments such as credit cards and e-checks will continue to require integration with an approved processor.
Additionally, we’ve added support for writing to the Comment field through the API, giving customers more flexibility when submitting payment data.
