We’ve added field-level security to the Account ID field in the Merchant Account entity to protect sensitive processor information.
This unique ID is critical to PEAK 15 Pay functionality and must match the corresponding value in the payment processor’s (e.g., Fullsteam) system. Any mismatch may cause payment or refund failures.
With this update:
- Only users included in designated security profiles can view or edit the Account ID field
- All other users will see a secured field indicator (see below)
- This change applies to the Merchant Account form in D365
- Includes processors: PEAK 15 Pay and Stripe
This added security ensures accurate transactions and helps prevent processing issues.
