When an expired credit card is selected to process a payment or refund, the following messages will display:
- Unable to process the payment, the credit card has expired. Please edit the card or select a new card.
- Unable to process the refund, the credit card has expired. Please edit the card or select a new card.
Note, we do not filter expired credit card from the list of cards to select from. There is an "auto updater" feature in Credit Card platforms where an expired card is updated with a new expiration date. So the originally tokenized card is still able to used.
